A true master of tone and soul, Jim's musical beginnings began when as a young boy, his father brought him home a brand new Les Paul (pictured above) which he still plays today.  Great score for a youngin!  With his father's belief in him and his drive to master the instrument, Jim played incessantly at every opportunity learning every song, every riff solely by ear.  Jim began playing in bands in middle school and hasn't slowed down since.  His past bands have included Cuba Road, HomeSick, Burning Sky, Lake Shore Drive, and others.  Jim is also a talented sound engineer and record producer.  Jim's influences include KISS, Rush, and almost all 70s rock bands.
