Dave began playing guitar a long time ago. His mother was a singer in western swing bands in the 1950s and was a featured vocalist on radio programs during that era. Plus, aunts and uncles were all musicians and performers of some kind so it was no surprise that young Dave took an interest in music as well. Hearing Lonnie Mack, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Dick Dale, he knew that the guitar was his instrument of choice. In addition, his school years were busy singing in every choir available to him and studying classical vocal music. Dave began playing and singing with rock bands in high-school which expanded into playing everywhere throughout the next three decades. During those years, Dave has played a wide range of music and has achieved a great degree of success with numerous bands and in countless sessions. Dave also plays harmonica, bass, flute, and percussion among other things. Primarily a Rock & Blues guitarist, he has also played in Country, Folk, Jazz and Swing Bands in addition to being a songwriter/vocalist.
Dave also likes old cars and fresh margaritas. Just add some great friends and its Party Time!
